SERVINGS: 3 to 4                             




1 pack of The Jack Man
 Smoky BBQ Jackfruit
1 tbs oil
1 brown onion
350g mushrooms of choice
2 tbs paprika
¼ cup vegan gravy powder
¼ cup water
1 cup vegan cheese
2 tbs BBQ sauce
salt & pepper to taste
4 vegan puff pastry sheets


1. Heat oil in a large pan and add diced onion and cook on high, meanwhile slice mushrooms.
2. Fry until onion browns then add mushrooms and paprika. Cook until mushrooms start watering then add gravy powder and mix.
3. Add the Smokey BBQ Jackfruit to the pan and break apart into small pieces while cooking. When the mixture starts drying add water and mix well.
4. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook while mixing. Then add BBQ sauce, salt and pepper and vegan cheese, mix and turn off heat. Set aside for cool.
5. Defrost pastry sheets and cut out desired pie shapes, if using a pie maker follow instructions on manual to cook. If baking in oven line a baking dish with pastry, then fill ¾ with filling and cover with more pastry. Bake until pies are golden and crunchy - 20/30mins depending on size. Enjoy hot with gravy!
